Enjoy the park and help to preserve it for others.

The Washington Park Conservancy will conduct a number of outings and workdays in the spring and summer. There is no cost to participate. Join others who value the natural space and the contact with wildlife that the park offers. Our habitat restoration workdays are every third Saturday (March to October) from 9am to Noon, meet at the Fountain of Time.

• 40th Anniversary Earth Day Cleanup Celebration, April 17, 9 a.m. to noon. Meet at the fieldhouse.

• Arbor Day tree planting with teens from the Gary Comer Youth Center, part of the Conservancy's Teen Ecological Adventure program, April 30, 2010. This event is closed to groups but our regulars are welcome to assist with the teens.
