Previous Bird Walks

May 1, 2010 - Judy Pollock of the Audubon Society and the Directory of Bird Conservation led a bird walk.
May 8 and 15, 2010 - Marianne Hahn, a bird expert, led the bird walks. The Washington Park Camera Club accompanied the
WPC along these walks in order to take pictures of these beautiful creatures. While our walks produced many wonderful
bird sightings, the highlight was the sighting of the extremely rare Promontory Warbler
near the river stream nature area. Other noteworthy bird sightings
included the Skarlet Tanager, the Red Headed Woodpecker and the Baltimore Oriole.
